The Nutcracker - Land of Sweets

PERFORMANCES:

  • Friday, December 8th at 6:30pm

  • Saturday, December 9th at 2:30pm and 6:30pm

  • Sunday, December 10th at 2:30pm

TICKETS:

  • $15 per ticket

  • Monday, October 30th: Tickets go on sale for Nutcracker families.

  • Friday, November 3rd: Tickets go on sale to the public.

LOCATION:

  • The Garden Theater (3125 Oakview Drive, Omaha, NE 68144)

Nutcracker - Land of Sweets is a wonderful opportunity for your dancer to participate in a ballet holiday classic!

If you have a dancer who enjoys ballet we highly recommend auditioning for the Nutcracker. This will be an experience they will never forget. 

Classes:

  • Nutcracker Classes began on Saturday, September 16th.

  • Nutcracker Class Dates (10 weeks of class):

    • Saturday: September 16, 23, and 30

    • Saturday: October 7, 14, 21 and 28

    • Saturday: November 4, 11, and 18

  • Class Practice Times: Practices will be held on Saturdays at the new Oakview location between 9:00am - 2:00pm. Specific times noted in graphic below.

  • Extra Practice Times: Please note that there may be 1-2 extra practices called during the 10 weeks. 

  • Attendance: Each dancer can be excused from TWO practices. Stage Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal and Performances are mandatory attendance.

STAGE/DRESS REHEARSAL:

  • Dress Rehearsal will be held on Saturday, December 2nd with costumes (for lighting, staging and professional photos).

  • Run Throughs will be held on:

    • Wednesday, December 6th from 5:00-9:00pm

    • Thursday, December 7th from 5:00-9:00pm

  • All Day Dress Rehearsal will be held on Friday, December 8th starting at 10:00am. (Dancers will be expected to miss school this day and will have a show that evening.)
